I wish to know more about the WAS 3.0 installation as I am unable to access the web application which I have loaded on to my web application server from any other machine can you please let me know what could be the problem..

Dear dave thank you very much for your kind reply but I am looking for a specific problem like after installing th edemo application when I am tring to access from the client machine broser it says not a valid virtual host name.

what to doo now.

What Dave says is correct, and I also had a similar problem couple of days ago while installing.

You know what, check out your Host Name and domain in the Control Panel, for Eg, if host name is MYHOST, and domain name is MYCOMPANY.COM or some IP Address kind of a thing, then, try http://MYHOST.MYCOMPANY.COM:XXXX/ where XXXX is the port number that u mentioned during installation, it would be 8888 by default.

Try and get back if problems still exist.
