Hi,
I am try attempt to write the Remote Procedure Call(RPC) program. The system show me the error message "fork failed - too many processes". It may be caused by several compiling and running the program. How can I prevent the above problem. Any one could help me to solve it or give me some advice.
Thanks a lot.
Regards,
Angus

Hi,
i assume you are using UNIX. The error message indicates that you might check your kernel parameters regarding the maximum number of processes in your system. Probably this should be increased. If your init.ora parameter "processes"is set too small it might also cause this problem.
