What middleware are people using in order to load data from an Excel spreadsheet (on NT) into an Oracle database on Unix? We are currently migrating our warehouse to Unix and the old ODBC driver does not work as it is NT only. Any recommendations?

Thanks
Claire

Are you able to connect to ORACLE from your PC thru ODBC then u can write a simple Macro and do the job.

Thanks for your comments. We resolved this by creating the tables in our Oracle warehouse then linking to them via MSAccess. The business users who maintained this spreadsheet like data still get their data in a similar format and the data is written straight to the database. Fortunately, this small group of users already had Access and we just administer the passwords and permissions.
