We appreciate your help.

I am installing Oracle 8.0.4.0.0 on Sun Solaris 2.6. In the middle of these process I have the next error:

$ORACLE_HOME/orainst/sql.log

.....

Oerr ora 27123
27123, 00000, "unable to attach to shared memory segment"

I believe your problem is that you didn't startup nomount prior to the create database command.

connect internal
startup nomount pfile=initsid.ora

When I try to startup nomount the database using the server manager (svrmgrl) the oracle error occur

connect internal
startup nomount pfile=initsid.ora

ORA-27123: unable to attach to shared memory segment
SVR4 Error: 22: Invalid argument

Would you please visit http://www.rvs.uni-hannover.de/people/voeckler/tune/EN/sysvipc.html
And then check the parameters of the file /etc/system?
Be sure that the parameter shminfo_shmmax had not been set to 4294967295(4GB). It should be set to 16777216(16M) or less.

The info I found was too much to post here. Go to metalink.oracle.com. Search for Note:61896.1 and then search on ORA-27123. These documents will tell you how to fix your problem.
