Hi,
I recently installed the oracle cd packs that contains oracle 8i personal edition and Oracle developer (Rel 6).
I have for the last three days tried to connect to the database from Oracle Developer but have not been successful. All I get is TNS ... errors

I Installed both Oracle Developer and oracle 8i personal edition (oracle 8i been the fist to be installed with a starter database.). Both are installed into different oracle homes since they use separate installers (i.e. oracle installer & oracle universal installer).
I tried to use the defaults usernames and passwords like scott/tiger and sysman/oem_temp , all what I got is TSN error: TSN coudln't resovle the host name.
