Hi,
I have a database on Linux Redhat 5.0, is running smoothly and everything is OK.
Now I would like to administrate this database using "Oracle Enterprise Manger". Database is in v. 10.3.2
Database server has address IP, a I use "PLSQL Developer" to execute SQL query - it works fine. I do have information like Service name, Port, Host, User name and Password (also for SYSDBA). My computer has Windows Vista Home Premium by the way.
I do have access to this server directly and from remote.
I tried executed in Linux Terminal command:
emctl status dbconsole
and got this:
[root@DB1 ~]# emctl status dbconsole
bash: emctl: command not found
[root@DB1 ~]#
Also after changing to Oracle user:
[root@DB1 ~]# emctl status dbconsole
bash: emctl: command not found
[root@DB1 ~]# su - oracle
[oracle@DB1 ~]$ emctl status dbconsole
-bash: emctl: command not found
[oracle@DB1 ~]$
It seems still not working
How can I connect to OEM? What I have done wrong?
Regards,
Nhan

Check if you have an "emctl" in your /oracle/DB/bin directory. If not, it was either removed or never installed.
ls -l $ORACLE_HOME/bin/emctl
-rwxr--r-- 1 oracle dba 12392 Oct 10 2005 /app/oracle/product/10.2.0/bin/emctl
