I am trying to install Grid Control 10.2.0.1 on Solaris 10 box.

This is the entry in the /etc/project file

oracle:500::::process.max-sem-nsems=(privileged,256,deny);project.max-sem-ids=(p
rivileged,100,deny);project.max-shm-ids=(privileged,100,deny);project.max-shm-me
mory=(privileged,4294967296,deny)

When I start the installation of Grid Control selecting the option of creating a new database for the repository
, I get this warning in the beginning

Value of shmmax is less than 4294967295
Value of shmmin is less than 1
Value of shmmni is less than 100
Value of shmseg is less than 10
Value of semmni is less than 100
Value of semmns is less than 1024
Value of semmsl is less than 256

I dont know why it is not able to see the values in /etc/project .
While processing with the installation ignoring the warning message the installation hangs at the
DBCA installation. The status shows IN PROGRESS.

The only directory that gets created is db10g.

Can anyone help me with this? I am not sure what makes it hang since there is enough free memory in the box.
