Hello,
just to say that we're still using Oracle Server version 7.1.5 (about to migrate to 7.3.4) on OpenVMS V6.2 and old tools (Forms 3.0,Report 1.1..- of course using Oracle tools like Developer 6 as well) on Compaq Alpha Server 4000 and we are very satisfied with performance and stability of this platform. The DB size is about 25GB.
Kind Regards,

Hi,
I would like to know if any one is running Oracle RDBMS 8.1.6.2.0 on Open VMS. We are talking about moving one of our critical applications to Oracle. We have Oracle in house running on Unix. But do the stability and lack of down time required on the DEC Alphas running Open VMS, we are thinking of moving to this platform. I would like any Pro's and Con's that any one could add. We thought about RDB but we are staffed better to take care of Oracle RDBMS.
