When i run the command emctl status console i get the message
"EM Daemon is not running". Can anyone let me know how do i solve this problem.

i am successful in starting the dbconsole but when i try to configure the backup settings and enter the host login details, it fails giving the following error message
"Connection to host as user administrator failed: IOException in sending Request :: Connection refused: connect"
