I can connect to the instance on the server machine like that:

$sqlplus "primal/PRIMAL@DC"

then I copy the network connection description of DC to local file tnsnames.ora. but when I connect to the Oracle again:

C:\sqlplus "primal/PRIMAL@DC"

I got this message:

ERROR:
ORA-12560 TNS:protocol adapter error

how can I resolve this problem?

Oracle client version?
Try removing "

My oracle client version is 9.2.0.1.0
but I had connected to the server successfully last month.
