Please give me brief note on refresh group.Also query required to find out number of MViews present in refresh group.

I could find only some details on refresh group.but not much about it.I believe dba_rchild should give me the details i required.

SQL> select comments from dict where table_name='DBA_RCHILD';
COMMENTS
-----------------------------------------------------------------
All the children in any refresh group.  This view is not a join.

1 row selected.

first of all,i want to say thanks for BABU for providing me such useful link on dba views for refresh group.

michel ,

select * from dict where lower(comments) like '%refresh%' and
table_name like 'DBA%';

The result of the query is below;

DBA_SNAPSHOT_REFRESH_TIMES -- Synonym for DBA_MVIEW_REFRESH_TIMES.

Please let me know the purpose of this query?

DBA_SNAPSHOT_REFRESH_TIMES
Synonym for DBA_MVIEW_REFRESH_TIMES

7 rows selected.

The purpose is to learn how to find the answer by yourself.
