Is it possible to write some code in a trigger (After Report Trigger)which should send the print of the current report to printer and then close the report.?????

You can send the report directly to the printer without passing by the previewer.
The After Report Trigger fires when the report is displayed in the previewer; your point is to send the report to the printer and close the previewer. You can do this directly.

how it is possible to send the report directly to printer. i am talking about oracle 10g reports. it is possible in 6i but how it works in 10g..
