I get the following error during an Oracle 10g installation. My kernel paramaters are all correct, I verified them, and the IP on this server is configured as static. On another system I got the same error, but continued with the installation and all was well, but this is a production system, and I do not want to make any mistakes on this one.
What else could be the problem ?

Recommendation: Oracle supports installations on systems with DHCP-assigned public IP addresses. However, the primary network interface on the system should be configured with a static IP address in order for the Oracle Software to function properly.
