Hi,

We are planning on upgrading couple of our Windows servers from 32bit to 64bit and upgrading our Oracle Server 10.2.0.3 from 32bit to 64bit also. We have some servers using Windows 32bit with 32bit Oracle and will remain the same. Is it possible for 32bit Oracle servers to get the data from the 64bit Oracle servers?

Please let me know.

Thanks

Tajinder

Hi Michael,

Thanks for the response. Do I need to do anything special to convert the data from 64bit to 32bit or Oracle does it automatically.

Please let me know

Thanks

You query data from 32bit to 64bit platform or the opposite without doing anything, Oracle handles this for you.
