02236, 00000, "invalid file name"
// *Cause: A character string literal was not used in the filename list
// of a LOGFILE, DATAFILE, or RENAME clause.
// *Action: Use correct syntax.

Try to specify a SYSAUX DATAFILE name.

Thanks!
It solved!
I used the 9i template in DBCA.
When I change to 10g template, it passed.
I compared them, the SYSAUX tablespace is one difference.

Question What will you do with this very old control file creation statement?
And what is your purpose to register to answer this very old topic without a single word of explaination?

Michel

You cannot create a 10g control file with this statement.
Where did you get it?

Use SQL*Plus and copy and paste your session, the WHOLE session.

Before, Please read OraFAQ Forum Guide, especially "How to format your post?" section.
Make sure that lines of code do not exceed 80 characters when you format.
Indent the code, use code tags and align the columns in result.
Use the "Preview Message" button to verify.
Also always post your Oracle version, with 4 decimals.

Regards
Michel
