Hi Guys,

I am new to this forum. I have a problem.
We have scripts which will refresh the materialised views.
We have 11 MV(materialised views).
Out of them 10 are successfully refreshed whereas one of them is throwing an exception when refreshed.

The exception is
Unhandled Exception Raised when refreshing Materialized View-DCX_PIECE_COST_GROUP_BY_PART_V : -12008:ORA-12008: error in materialized view refresh path
ORA-01562: failed to extend rollback segment numb

Please help me out with this..

Thanks for your help in advance..

This is what Oracle says:
Oracle
ORA-01562: failed to extend rollback segment number string

Cause: Failure occurred when trying to extend rollback segment

Action: This is normally followed by another error message that caused the failure. You may take the rollback segment offline to perform maintenance. Use the alter rollback segment offline command to take the rollback segment offline.

As the documentation says that
Quote:
This is normally followed by another error message that caused the failure
was there any subsequent error message (such as "maximum number of extents reached for this rollback segment" or ...)?
