hi to all....i want to know that is there any restriction on the number of redo-log file that can be created..and if their than please tell me the maximum number of redo-log that can be created for a database(single instance)...

redo-log members...and if there is any restriction of number of redo log group than state that also...

You defined the limit at database creation time.

yeah thnx..but as we define maxlog member at database creation time...so i want to know that is this maxlogmember has some range any maximum value????

A quick look to the documentation says:
