I am converting 6i reports to 10g reports.I have some letter type reports. These reports are called from Oracle Form using RUN_RPEORT_OBJECTI am getting below problem in conversion:

1.The reports has parameter form to enter some data by user. Some parameter are comming directly to the reports only(Like name and address) which is not displayed on parameter form. But the report output for that data is empty. If i created a fields for name and address on parameter form, the report start showing it in output.

2.While calling report from form if i used parameter form=Yes,then the data passed(Fields on report and not on parameter form) is not getting onto output screen.

3.While calling report from form if i used parameter form=No,then the data passed(Fields on report and not on parameter form) is getting onto output screen.

Can anybody help me on this?

Does it mean that you create parameters on a parameter form (using Paper Parameter Form Editor)? In order to do that, parameters must FIRST be created in Object Navigator's Data Model node, under "User Parameters".

So, do all three problems have anything to do with the fact that parameters are (or are not) created in Object Navigator?

Parameters are already there in report but not displayed on parameter form. The report is not showing any parameter value if that parameter is not a part of parameter form.
