Hi,

I want an automated script that create a oracle restore point every hour, So when ever I need to restore the db, I just go to the restore point and do the backup...

Any one have a nice script that creates the above, Your help is much appreciated!

Why not schedule a job to do it?

Take care there is a limit of 2048 restore points and some operations preclude from restoring like file shrinking.

DBMS_JOB, especially SUBMIT procedure.
