Hi,

I have a requirement to migrate Oracle 7 from Solaris to 10g Windows environment.

Is it possible, so what are the steps ?

Thankful if you could provide some link.

Brayan.

Hi Taj,

Its a cross platform (Solaris to Windows).

According to the document I'll have to do an intermidiate upgrade.

And, Since its Unix to Windows do I have to do and export/import ?

Yes, you'll have to upgrade to at least 8.1.7.4 and then do an export from Solaris to import into Windoze. Export with the 8.1.7.4 exp utility and import into the 10g database with the 10g imp utility.
