Hi Experts,
I am doing bulk upload on production database. But my archive
destination is getting full.I gunzipped all the files but
still disk is 95% full. There is space on other disks on OS
So If I change the archive destination and point it to
other disk. Can it create any issues.

Hi Michel,
Thanks for the reply.I have some more question:-
I have total 5 disks available at O.S.Currently i reduced the
the size capacity of the disk containing archivelogs to 75% after deleting and compressing some system generated trace files.
On the other disks datafiles are residing. So in future
Should I add more space to the disk containg archive destination
or should I point archive destination to other disk which has
empty space but contain datafiles.
Can you also please tell me how I can configure my
archive log destinations to automatically switch to another destination when a threshold is exceeded

We are baking up archive logs by veritas netbackup everyday.
Now as we added 100gb more space at archive destination
I would configure RMAN to take archive backups too.
Right now RMAN is taking disk backup of full disk level
backup everyday at defined channel. Is there any way I could keep
backup archivelogs for seven days
and delete the obsolete backup set everyday with
redundancy of 1.
