Hello everyone !

I have one server running solaris 5.8 and oracle 8i database, is there any way so I can transfer database from solaris 5.8, oracle 8i to Open SuseLinux 10.2 with Oracle10G ? As I have gone through many documentation and several try /error but unable to do so, may be I am missing somewhere.

Is it possible of cloning database between two diffrent OS version and database version ? If possible pl. guide me step by step instruction of reference, pl.

Thanks & Regards !
