Experts,

i am getting one alert in alert.log file. please find the error message. i am not able to understand weather this problem is related to ORACLE or OS. can any one guide me to resolve this problem.

ORA-27370: job slave failed to launch a job of type EXECUTABLE

ORA-27300: OS system dependent operation:spawning execution agent failed with status: 12

ORA-27301: OS failure message: Not enough space

ORA-27302: failure occurred at: sjsec 4

Mahesh,

Thanks for quick reply. i believe server is suffering with RAM shortage. correct me if i am wrong.

we have 5 DB in same host. in this case i want to pin point this problem.

is this cause of RAM? or Swap space.

i can see i have 10g free space in the RAM and around 10g free space in the swap space.

guide me to go more deeper into this problem.
