From the archived log backups I have seen the following things,

List of Archived Logs in backup set 2442

Does it means that our online redo log switching is occurring frequently and need to enlarge the redo log size?

P.S: Don't we do any manual switching of redo log.

What is the impact of redo sizing over performance?

If it is rare, you don't need to, if you have a switch every 2 to 5 minutes each time, yes you should enlarge you redo logs.

Have a look at archived log size, if it is smaller then you have a manual switch log (assuming you didn't set archive_lag_target).

In short, during log switches other processes have to wait.

from my above example for sequence 49181 log switched occurs within (11:40:04-11:38:01=)2 minute 03 seconds. Is not it?
