hey guys.. can u tell me the difference between a backupset piece & the actual backup files created physically on disk after a backup is complete? also how does paralellism affect the number of backup sets created , & how oracle manages backing up datafiles on different backup pieces (or physical backup files stored on disk) for instance is a set created for every datafile?.. thanx
