Application not coming up [message #346468]

Hi Experts,
I am not able to bring my application up.I checked the v$session and it is showing me this wait:-cursor: pin S wait on X.So the application is keeping waithing instead of coming up.Dyou have any suggestions what can i do to resolve this.

Insufficient information.
After 70+ messages, you must know that
* post the exact error with proper formats from alert log/any view
* Post OS information

With some baseline information, someone might help you.

There are known bugs around that, check on Metalink if one fit your environment.

I have one basic question:-
Can we tune system tables.
There are 2000 queries being executed when we bring the application up.These queries takes very less time generally.But today some queries are taking 10 secs.So that could be one of the reason that application is not coming up.Most of these queries are using system tables.
