Dear all

i have a query on DBLINK

one of my database x on xyz environment

another DB y on abc environment

now i want to give access to user1 who is in abc environment to my database x on xyz environment ...that i can achieve by DBLINK
but if i want to restrict this user1 only to give select grant on x DB is it possible bcos user1 will be accessing my DB x via DBLINK...please correct me if i am wrong......

Just use a user that has read only access in your db link.
