Dear Sir

I am getting the below error while trying to compile a procedure

ora-03113-end of file on communication channel

Please help to resolve the issue?

ORA-03113: first try to login again and compile. if you still getting same error then CONTACT ORACLE SUPPORT.

hi

if you are getting this error
well you can try one thing

enabled query_rewrite_enabled = true

and then pershaps you shall able to compile that procedure...

Just try it out and let me know

Cause: The connection between Client and Server process was broken.

Action: There was a communication error that requires further investigation. First, check for network problems and review the SQL*Net setup. Also, look in the alert.log file for any errors. Finally, test to see whether the server process is dead and whether a trace file was generated at failure time.

I'm intrigued - why do you think that this most generic of errors was caused by Query Rewrite emabled being set?
