I am using Oracle Enterprise Manager- Database Control 10.2.0.2. The database is Oracle Database 10g Release 10.2.0.2.0 - 64bit Production. It is a standard edition.
I have created a user defined metric which will alert me when the number of processes reach around 400.
Process Limit Usage (%) metric was not enabled so I need to create a user metric to replicate almost the same functionality.
Is it possible to send email notifications when the critical threshold of 400 is reached ? I have configured email notifications for existing metrics but I am not sure how to do the same for a user defined one .
