Hi friends,

Here in one single system(PC) has two OS
1.Windows server 2003 Standared
2. Windows XP Professional

but oracle installed in windows server 2003..

Anyone have idea to will work in Windows server 2003 through Windows xp desktop.

we can do that or not?

Depends on what "one single system(PC) has two OS" means.

If it's dual-boot: NO, if it's some sort of virtual machine: MAYBE.

It is not possible. becuase Oracle 8i is not support Windows XP.

Install VMware server and you should be able to connect to the windows 2003 but not to the oracle 8.1
