What is the difference between upgradation and migration in oracle?

Hi,
According to my knowledge.Practical usage they are Same. But
Migratation itself states moving from one state to other. That means if you are moving your database to another environment. It can be called Migration.
Upgrade is changing the versions of binaries in oracle.it could be 9i -10g or 10g to 11g.

Please correct me If I am wrong.
