Hello All,

We are using a 2 node RAC on 10g rel2 and the O/S is Linux ES4. I have a small doubt .

Can one single ASM instance support multiple Databases .
For ex: If my ASM instance name is +ASM , can DB1,DB2 and DB3 use the diskgroups created by +ASM.

Please let me know .

Regards,
Raj

Though, I would use a separate diskgroup for each database to distribute I/O.
But would not bother if the database is of low use / similar nature.
