Hi,
We plan to migrate our database from 9i to 11G.
My question:
Which solution is better, migrate client or server first?
So is it more dangerous to have 9i client on 11G database or to have 11G client on 9i database?

It does not matter as long as your client/application supports 11g client.
(I assumed 9i means 9.2.)
