connections in 3 node RAC [message #339491]

Hi,
We have 3 node RAC and we configured multiple services across all three nodes. But i see most of the connections go to only one node. what could be the reason?

Are all originating from the same application?
Is a thread/connecting always looking into the same node?

No , they are comming from different application and different services

Your tnsnames.ora and listener and shared server configuration.

It all depends on which instance is Active.

Connection will be given to active instance only
