Experts,

i have a question. one of my database is suffering with bind pecking. for this i got instruction from my teammates to delete histograms.

can any one provide some information about histograms and how to remove histograms.

Way too much to be explained in a forum.
Oracle docs carry all the information you want.

Depends on how you collect statistics and usage of METHOD_OPT.
If you are absolutely sure you may want to check try that in test environment and only for that specific table.

I would try with 'FOR ALL COLUMNS SIZE 1'
