Hello Everybody,

My OS clock seems to be 2 hrs late. so is my database, hence I want to change the time at OS level to get the correct time reflected in DB, this is a production server.

Is there any complications doing if i change my system time(OS)

Appreciate your suggestions.

Take a test server and try it.

I would say there is no problem but if I am wrong and you do it what happens?

Thanks Micheal,

We don't have any test server here.

But i have tried it with windows server, i didnt feel any difference.

Here OS is HPUX that makes me to wonder.
What do you suggest..!!

AFAIK you can change it there is no problem as micheal said.

Myself I change time of our production server running on LINUX, after that i didn't face any problem.
