We perform backup and restore of our database via RMAN.
We have developed Korn shell scripts. From these shell scripts we execute RMAN scripts to perform backup and restore of our Oracle database.

To disallow user from sending any interrupt signals (e.g. Ctrl+C, Ctrl+Z etc.) we handle and ignore these signals using "trap" in our shell scripts.

Could you please let us know if any similar handling can be done in RMAN scripts?
