sir,
Im using ora 9i, in win 2000 server (sp2).
i installaed 9i in d:\ having partition size of 11.7 GB. now all the oracle folders size is nearing 11.5 GB. and only minimum space is available in d:\.
The undotbs01.dbf file is about 5 GB.
and i created many .dat files (which sized abt 4.58 GB).

As of yesterday, system working fine with only 2MB of data left.
Now,the oracle didnt startup. it says,
ORA-01034-ORACLE not available
ora-27101 Shared memory realm does not exist.

I try to startup the database (manually) by using sys as sysdba.
But it produces following....
Database mounted.
ora-03113 end-of-file on communication channel.

I know it may be the error of low disk space.

pls kindly let me know,
i) how to delete an existing tablespace.
ii) how to clear the UNDOTBS01.DBF file with minimum size.

I attached my ALRT.LOG FILE.

i backup the data before 3 days .

Pls help me to solve this error.

Thanks in advance.

Nothing more to say without being outlaw.
If you have no valid CSI, you have no right to get the workaround.

But the most obvious way is to upgrade your version and goes very far away from this 9.0 no more supported and full of bugs.

Also, don't use IM speak.

I cant able to login using sqlplus and i cant able to startup the database manually using sys as sysdba (startup)
it gives the following errord

c:\sqlplus sys as sysdba
sql>startup
oracle instance started.

Total system Global area 118255568 bytes

Database Buffers 33554432 bytes
Redo Buffers 532480 bytes

I tried to install a new oracle server with the same name (ORASRV).

Due to your lack of experience, I advice you to hire a senior before you definitively lose your database.
