I have installed Oracle Forms and Reports 10g (10.1.2.0.2) standalone server for x86 in Sun Solaris i386 operating system.

I am able to launch the application in IE 6 with Jinitiator version 1.3.1.22. However when I open a second session in a new browser, it is giving a form error as given below.

"FRM-92102: A network error has occurred. The forms client has attempted to reestablish its connection to the Server 8 time(s) without success. Please check the network connection and try again later."

After getting this error in the second session, the first session also flashed this error message. I looks like it is not allowing multiple form sessions to start concurrently.

I tried changing networkRetries parameter in formsweb.cfg, and also the KeepAlive parameters in httpd.conf, but the error persists.

Can anyone please suggest a solution or workaround? Thanks.

Thanks for your response.

But, the hints given in the metalink note do not match in my case. The network retries parameter is also non-zero. Still the problem occurs.

Would appreciate any lead to fix this issue. Thanks.
