We have Oracle 10G runnin on window 2003 server, and we found that the Oracle not started each time when we reboot the box on weekends, how we are able to set Oracle start automatically after reboot ? Thx.

If the service is already created, check the properties of the service in control panel/services

The service in control panel is running , but we have to use sqlplus to start the instance manually, how we are able to start the intance automatically ? Thx.

Chec the value of ORA_SID_AUTOSTART in the registry

That's the problem, we change it to TRUE, and it's working now, thanks a lot.

But you could do it with oradim instead of hacking the registry if you read the link Raj provided.

And you could also use "Oracle Administration assistant for Windows" if you wanted...
