Sometime some applications like Developer Suite - oracleas1 10g
need to 256 MB for memory for screen card
by the screen card is less than required size
we can slove this problem in the Window OS by increase virtual memory , how we can do this in Linux?
note :swap space in my system is 3G.B

But The Size for swapfile is 3000MB

Your question, isn't an "oracle issue", more of linux one.I think you are better of asking in a Linux forum
