Hi,
Our users are complianing that they had an timeout with distributed tracsation waiting for lock approximately 6 hours ago. Is there anyway i can find is there really a distributed transaction lock, if so how to find more information like which query, user was causing that lock. We have three node RAC oracle 10g running in HP UX.

For RAC look into gv$views.
In this case, gv$lock/gv$session..
