Hi Everyone,
I have a report with 2 sheets that I am running perfectly in Discoverer 4i viewer.
When I try to run it in Discoverer 10g viewer, running one of the sheets results in an ORA-3001 error.
There are only 4 parameters on the sheet, two text strings, a number, and a date field.
The report works perfectly in Discoverer 10g Desktop so I cant figure out where it is going wrong.
Has this happened to anyone else, or does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this?
Thanks

Thats the problem. I dont know which part of the report is causing it. Theres no more information given than that. And because it works perfectly in Desktop edition, I cant even try to figure out why it wont work.
It's got me really confused.

Unfortunately, I do not know what might be causing this. What I would do if I would run into this:
- copy/paste the SQL statement from Discoverer and run it in SQL*Plus to verify it is a Discoverer issue indeed; if this is succesfull, then:
- start removing calculations/parameters/etc one by one from the worksheet (or start rebuilding it from scratch, that's the other way around) to see if the error still persists, hopefully this will give you a clue on what the actual cause is.
However, perhaps it best to raise an SR at Metalink.
Regards,
Sabine
