I am a newbie and can any experienced person explain me how a real time project project would be and what could be the probable role of an Oracle PL/SQL developer in such projects, in detail?
For example, if it's a retail company where we have a system that includes supplier details, order entry, tracking, shipping information and billing modules..
Thanks

As an absolute junior, you will probably start by coding well layed out and defined-in-detail technical designs. In these, the algorithms will be pseudo-coded.
It depends heavily on the project though: some projects don't use technical designs, and they expect developers to do those themselves (either in their heads, or explicitly in docs) although those are rarely projects where extreme juniors are used.
Another possibility (probably after spending some time plowing through the code) is that you will be assigned some simple bugs to fix.
Most important advises are: ask around, ask around, ask around and enjoy what you do.
