Hi All,

I have a production server which has oracle7 Release 7.3.4.5.0-production installed.

I am trying to download this oracle version and the documentation but is not to be found.

Am willing to know if this version exists or should I install another version and apply a patch to have this release.

The current version is 11.1.
No version 7 is no more available.

I agree with you that oracle7 is mo more available.

But I should know the below as i have to set up a DR site with identical oracle versions.

Do you thing there is much point in setting up a disaster recovery site with an unsupported database version, where in the event of an actual disaster you won't be able to get any support if you need it?

Just for giggles,
Assume that you have found and Oracle 7.3.x installation media.
Do you think you can install it in Solaris 10?
