How to find out the maximum number of users and sessions conected to the database?

v$session will not give me the number of session that can connect to the database. it will give me number of session that are connected to the database.

There is no maximum number of sessions but OS limits on memory and/or process number.

we can find the max number of process using
show parameter process.
and for user, i dont know how to find it.
