I am passing a string as argument. Need to check if it contains "-".
If it contains "-" then check if it contains "-r" .If Yes then print some message else check if it contains "-t".If yes print some message. How this check can be done using shell script?

Aaah! Come on Michel! Instead of merging the query my previous message was deleted! why???
This is just a basic question! Does shell script contains all the content in Oracle only???
Shell script should not contain any lines other than Oracle
[Just joking...dont mind!]

Oli

It was merged and deleted as duplicate.
I will merge this one too and this is still not an Oracle-related question, so it is locked.
This is an Oracle site, just an Oracle forum, post you question in an Unix forum.

Michel
