hello
i install new instance in my pc
i have all of DB in my NETWORK PATH

i do this:

\\....\oracle

now i see drive Z:\

i succed to startup mount
but in create control file
i get this error:

"ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01503: CREATE CONTROLFILE failed
ORA-01565: error in identifying file 'z:\CRP\SAPDATA1\SYSTEM_1\SYSTEM.DATA1'
ORA-27041: unable to open file
OSD-04002: unable to open file
O/S-Error: (OS 3) The system cannot find the path specified.


but its actualy the rigth path
please help

Windows Network/UNC drive are not supported by Oracle.

What is system.data1?
The extension should be .dbf.

i have the right name and path

and i have drive letter named Z
and its network path

cant oracle startup with network path
not like this \\server\\...

just Z:

mean MAP NETWORK
