HI everybody,
yester i was face one interview
in that interview the quiestion was asked
HOW WOULD YOU APPLY BACKUP STRATEGY ?...
what would be expected answer.
can any body help me ?

Depends on various matters
Like,
> How crucial the data is for the company, how much availability the company require, How much it can afford, Hardware availability etc..

data is cruitial like credit card compony,
compony want High avaibility 24X7 and it ready to spend best quality hardware on SAN.

what version of oracle?
Enterprise edition- datagaurd/active datagaurd no loss of data servers in speerate locations.
standard edition - use code to replicate and send small archive logs - probable loss 20 minutes or so.

Hi
There are no ready made answers for this. It depends on requirements of the client or company you work for. There are articles on MAA on OTN which will give you and idea of what the company expect when they say MAA.
As for strategy you have to come up with something on your own using your knowledge of various backup features provided by oracle and you experience.
