Hello Folks,
I use oracle database 9i on Win XP in my HOME.
I'm curious and want to discover and learn more about ORACLE.

I do want to configure the notifications. I need then to know the SMTP Mail Gateway and the smtp mail Address !! What would it be ?

What is the hostname/IP# of your smtp (mail) server?
Since we don't know YOUR enviroment, we really can solve your mystery.

I have a PC at my home.
I have Windows XP as OS.
I have an internet connexion via modem.
I've installed Oracle 9i database Entreprise Edition.

Call your ISP (Internet Service Provider) & ask them for the smtp...
